Chattanooga… Best town EVER!
Chattanooga, Tennessee is one of the best destinations in the South. It has even been named the “Best Town Ever.” TWICE! In fact, the New York Times named Chattanooga one of the "Top 45 Places to go" in the World. And it's no wonder. Tucked between the mountains of Southeast Tennessee, along the beautiful Tennessee River, Chattanooga is one of America's most breathtaking cities. There's a world of outdoor adventure, amazing restaurants, live events, art and world-class attractions waiting for your students here.
Students will start the trip with a thrilling ride on the Incline Railway. This rail car is the steepest passenger railway in the WORLD! Students will ride to the top of Lookout Mountain.
Battles for Chattanooga Museum
Students will then exit the Incline Railway at the top of Lookout Mountain. After enjoying spectacular views, students will enter the Battles for Chattanooga Museum. This must-see theater experience, which includes projection mapping technology, 3D animation, thundering sound, and nearly holographic projection imagery, details the major battles fought her in November 1863.
Lookout Mountain Battlefield and Point Park
Just minutes from downtown Chattanooga, TN, Lookout Mountain is the perfect destination for out of the ordinary experiences and amazing natural beauty. Here, students will visit Point Park, a site built in 1905 to commemorate the “Battle Above the Clouds” during the Civil War.
Lunch and Tour of Ruby Falls
In 1928, Leo Lambert and a team of excavators found a breathtaking waterfall located over 1,120 feet below the surface of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Lambert named the falls after his wife, Ruby, and opened the area as a public attraction in 1930. Today, Ruby Falls welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
Rock City Gardens
Students will enjoy walking through “Fat Man’s Squeeze” and “Needle’s Eye”, and will be able to view seven states, simultaneously, while standing at Lover’s Leap.
Dinner at Rib ‘n Loin – Chattanooga’s best bar-b-cue
Before heading to evening fun, students will dine in Chattanooga’s most well-known bar-b-cue restaurant, Rib ‘n Loin.
Bowling at Pin Strikes
To end the evening, students will have some “spare” time to “strike” up some fun at Pin Strikes Bowling, in Chattanooga before heading back to the hotel.
Students will discover giant catfish, new feisty otters, fierce sharks, mysterious jellyfish, playful penguins and a rainforest filed with hundreds of free-flying butterflies while touring the Tennessee Aquarium
Techtown is Chattanooga’s newest technology and entrepreneurial learning center. Before heading home, students will have the opportunity to discover, learn, and explore the limitless possibilities of their imaginations.

While stopping for lunch before departing for home, students will have a peek inside what US News and World Reports calls one of the best Christian Liberal-Arts and Sciences Colleges in the United States.
